A developing story
The park stated that another one of these fish was discovered by a tourist in May 2021. Nobody could explain what happened back then, and the phenomena has reproduced again on (of all days) Friday the 13th. The statement inquired, “What does it all mean?” and, to be honest, we’re still a little confused as to why mystery giant fish keep washing up on the same plain shore.
That is nice and all, but we are forced to believe that the first of these terrifying fish were handed over to authorities years ago. It appears that the government never investigated that incident as well, so we’re now dealing with an inexplicable mystery that has been building for years. The fact that we don’t have any actual solutions is unsettling enough to raise the hairs on our arms!
What exactly can we infer from this?
While Crystal Cove State Park’s official statement raised some alarming questions and unanswered mysteries, they also went above and beyond to help us learn something from these recent strange happenings. It is up to you to decide if they are being overwhelmingly optimistic or otherwise.
The official statement (as reported by People) concludes, “Seeing this strange and fascinating fish is a testament to the curious diversity of marine life lurking beneath the water’s surface. As scientists continue to learn more about these deep sea creatures, it’s important to reflect on how much is still to be learned from our wonderful and mysterious ocean!”
Indeed, we will try to take steps to acquire new knowledge and contemplate. But, given those teeth’ sharpness, we’ll be extra cautious about slipping our feet again into the ocean!
