When Obama moved into the White House, he was quickly reminded of several unresolved military campaigns left behind by George W. Bush.
Bush didn’t handle those well, that’s for sure. At least Obama tried not to start any new wars, which was good news for Russia since they began their conflict with Ukraine.
Although Obama condemned the aggression, both Republicans and his fellow Democrats criticized his neutrality. He aimed to change too much, so eventually, many of his promises fell short.
