The Golfer Who Shocked Everyone by Being True to Herself

From Tumbles to Tee-offs

While falling from the high bar may have injured her knee, it also paved the way for Paige’s golfing career. Her gymnastics journey took an unexpected twist, leading her to uncover a deep passion for golf. By age 17, she was swinging with the best of them, turning professional at the junior level in 2010.

The tranquility of the fairways became her new battleground, and being homeschooled provided her the flexibility to craft a schedule focused on the greens. Paige wasn’t just playing; she was excelling, splitting her time between Monument, Colorado, and vibrant Scottsdale, Arizona, to hone her skills. What a strategic career move!

Paige’s Junior Jive

During her high school years, Paige wasn’t one to “putter around.” On the contrary, she was on fire, clinching victory in five out of seven tournaments on the Colorado junior golf circuit. In 2010, she also secured the CWGA Junior Stroke Play title, solidifying her place among the top 20 young female golfers worldwide.

Paige isn’t just a one-club wonder; she earned the title of West Region Player of the Year twice. Her exceptional performance made her a top-five prospect for college recruitment, garnering her first-team All-American honors and a place on the Future Collegians World Tour. It was just the beginning of an incredible career.
