Brian George as Dr. V.M. Koothrappali
It’s pretty easy to spot Brian George as the face on the screen because he often appears as Raj’s father, regularly chatting with his son via video calls throughout the show.
He finally showed up in person on the show during the eighth season, much to the delight of his fans. Beyond Big Bang, he’s been a respected and accomplished actor since at least the mid-80s, consistently playing character roles. No doubt, his mortgage payments are always up to date.
Alice Amter as Mrs. Koothrappali
Alice Amter is best known for her role as Raj’s mother, Mrs. Koothrappali, in The Big Bang Theory. Interestingly, despite portraying this significant character, the actress herself does not have any Indian ancestry.
Since her time on Big Bang, she’s made appearances in NCIS: Los Angeles and Scandal, but she doesn’t seem to pursue regular acting gigs.
