Fashion expert Kate Betts suggested to CNN that a diplomatic move would be choosing an English or young American designer. In simpler terms, Betts said the first family should represent the U.S. with pride while also recognizing British fashion.

While serving as First Lady, Melania Trump didn’t just take a back seat. In 2018, she launched her “Be Best” initiative aimed at helping children. This program focused on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Instead of just letting her husband lead, Melania actively promoted her cause, showing her commitment to improving kids’ lives.
During her time as First Lady, Melania was very active with her “Be Best” initiative. She traveled to places like Egypt and Kenya to promote it and visited various hospitals to spend time with sick children.
At the time, political opponents criticized her project, pointing out that she appeared to be clumsily duplicating Michelle Obama’s “Be Better” program. Nonetheless, Melania’s efforts highlight the necessity of future First Ladies using their authority and influence to better the world around them.
