MELISSA ETHERIDGE AND LINDA WALLEM
Melissa Etheridge’s first album earned a Grammy nomination for its hit single “Bring Me Some Water.” By her third album, Never Enough, she took home the Grammy, thanks to the single “Ain’t It Heavy.” Known for her raspy vocals and her talent for blending heartfelt lyrics with pop-infused folk-rock melodies, Melissa has made a significant mark in the music world. While she hasn’t ventured into acting yet, she has still garnered some noteworthy accolades from the film and TV industry.
In addition to winning an Academy Award for Best Original Song with “I Need to Wake Up,” which was featured in the 2006 film An Inconvenient Truth, Melissa Etheridge also found love. She met Linda Wallem when Linda was casting for her then-upcoming show, That ’80s Show. Linda invited Melissa to audition, and although she didn’t get the part, they quickly became best friends. Today, they’re happily married and enjoying life together.
CHEYENNE JACKSON AND JASON LANDAU
Meeting in rehab for alcohol addiction wasn’t exactly a fairy-tale start for Cheyenne Jackson and Jason Landau, but they defied the odds and got sober together. Before long, they announced their engagement and had a beautiful wedding in Encino, California. The ceremony was intimate, with family and close friends like Jane Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Alicia Silverstone in attendance.
For Cheyenne Jackson, his relationship with Jason Landau marked a fresh start, especially after coming out of a previous marriage. Cheyenne mentioned that he and his former partner, Lapka, shared some wonderful years, and he still thinks highly of him. He felt sad about the end of that chapter, but fortunately, he had a good attorney who helped him handle everything smoothly. Now, Cheyenne and Jason are incredibly grateful to have found each other. They welcomed their twins, Willow and Ethan, in 2016, and are overjoyed with the blessings of parenthood, eagerly embracing their roles as doting dads.
