Setting aside their differences, Ivanka stood alongside Melania
The rocky relationship between Ivanka and Melania is well-known. According to Katie Rogers’ book “American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,” Melania was opposed to Ivanka and Trump’s other children being involved in White House affairs.
According to Rogers, Donald Trump sparked a rivalry between Ivanka and Melania by assigning Ivanka some of Melania’s First Lady responsibilities, causing a power struggle.
However, following the guilty verdict, they were able to set aside their differences.
